LUNCH/DINNER-  Food Runner

The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring each guest’s food order is delivered promptly and efficiently. This position will organize food tickets, communicate with culinary team members to ensure each course is distributed and ready in order, and deliver the completed meals to the guests in the dining area and at the bar.

Responsibilities:
Assists in preparation of kitchen opening and closing procedures
Completes assigned side-work duties (opening, closing, ongoing)
Follows all instructions from expeditor, lead Chef and/or Management Team
Sorts and organizes incoming food tickets
Maintains orders according to each table and food ticket
Ensures each order is prepared to the restaurant and guest’s food specifications
Garnishes and prepares dishes for food presentation as needed
Promptly delivers each course as it is prepared to the correct table and in order
Communicates clearly any additional orders or needs the guest may have to kitchen manager or expeditor
